All our tours include a professional, licensed guide. Our guides are fluent in:
English
French
Arabic & Darija (Moroccan Arabic)
Spanish (select tours)
Please let us know your preferred language when booking so we can match you with the right guide.
Private tours are exclusively for your group. You set the pace, stops, and schedule. Ideal for families, couples, and those wanting a personalised experience.
Shared tours join other travellers in a small group. They are more budget-friendly and a great way to meet fellow adventurers.
Most of our tours are available in both formats. Contact us to confirm availability.
Yes, many of our tours are family-friendly and suitable for children of all ages. We always recommend checking individual tour descriptions for physical requirements. Activities such as buggy rides and camel trekking have minimum age guidelines which our team will share at booking.
Meal inclusions vary by tour. Some excursions include a traditional Moroccan lunch or dinner (such as our Agafay desert packages), while others are self-catered. Each tour page clearly states what is and is not included.
Dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, halal, allergies) can be accommodated — just let us know when booking.
Yes. For all private tours, we offer complimentary hotel or riad pickup from anywhere in Marrakech. For shared tours, we typically have a designated meeting point in the city centre, with the exact address provided in your booking confirmation.
We recommend the following for most day trips:
Comfortable, breathable clothing (modest dress for religious sites)
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
Comfortable walking shoes
A small daypack with water and snacks
Camera or phone for photos
A light jacket (evenings can be cool, especially in the desert)
Agafay Desert — A rocky stone desert just 45 minutes from Marrakech. Perfect for a half-day or evening experience: camel rides, quad biking, and a sunset dinner. Ideal if you have limited time.
Merzouga / Sahara — The iconic golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. A 2–3 day trip from Marrakech offering an overnight camp, stargazing, and a true Sahara sunrise. Unforgettable for those with more time.

Accommodation
5 questions
A riad is a traditional Moroccan house built around a central courtyard or garden. They are typically located inside the ancient medinas and offer an intimate, characterful stay quite different from a conventional hotel.
Riads are known for their beautiful Moroccan tilework (zellige), carved plasterwork, rooftop terraces, and personalised hospitality. Staying in a riad is one of the most authentic Moroccan experiences you can have.
Yes. We have a curated selection of riads, boutique hotels, and desert camps across Morocco. We can book accommodation as part of a complete package or as a standalone service. Browse our Accommodations page or contact us for personalised recommendations.
Our desert camps range from standard Berber tents to luxury glamping options with proper beds, private bathrooms, and electricity. All camps include traditional Moroccan dinner, breakfast, and live music around a campfire.
Luxury camps feature en-suite facilities, proper mattresses, and sometimes even plunge pools — all under the open Sahara sky.
Most riads and hotels in cities offer free Wi-Fi. In remote desert areas, Wi-Fi connectivity is limited or unavailable — which many travellers find to be part of the charm. We recommend purchasing a local SIM card for data coverage across Morocco.
Standard check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out by 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out can usually be arranged depending on availability — please notify us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

Morocco offers visa-free entry for up to 90 days to citizens of most European countries, the USA, Canada, Australia, and many others. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
We always recommend checking your country's specific entry requirements with the Moroccan Embassy or your government's travel advisory before booking.
The Moroccan currency is the Dirham (MAD). It is not freely convertible outside Morocco, so we recommend exchanging money upon arrival.
ATMs are widely available in cities and accept major international cards
Currency exchange bureaux offer competitive rates in airports, medinas, and shopping areas
Euro, USD, and GBP are widely accepted at tourist-facing businesses
Spring (March–May): Ideal — warm days, blooming landscapes, perfect for hiking and city tours
Autumn (September–November): Equally excellent with mild temperatures and fewer crowds
Winter (December–February): Cool in cities, cold in the mountains — but great for desert experiences with crisp air
Summer (June–August): Very hot inland (40°C+), but pleasant along the Atlantic coast
We highly recommend it. Moroccan SIM cards from Maroc Telecom, Inwi, or Orange are inexpensive and available at the airport and shops throughout the city. A data plan of 20–30 GB costs roughly 50–100 MAD (€5–€10).
Having mobile data ensures you can use Google Maps, WhatsApp us in case of any questions, and stay connected throughout your trip.
Tipping is customary in Morocco and greatly appreciated but never obligatory. General guidelines:
Tour guides: 50–100 MAD per person per day
Drivers: 30–50 MAD per day
Restaurants: 10% of the bill
Hotel staff: 10–20 MAD per service
Morocco uses Type C and Type E plugs (the same as most of continental Europe) with a voltage of 220V / 50Hz. UK and US travellers will need a plug adapter. Most modern devices (phones, laptops) automatically handle both 110V and 220V.
Morocco's official languages are Arabic and Tamazight (Berber). French is widely spoken in business, tourism, and education. In tourist areas, English and Spanish are also commonly understood. A few basic words in Darija (Moroccan Arabic) — like "Shukran" (thank you) — are always warmly appreciated by locals.
Safety & Health
6 questions
Yes. Morocco is widely considered one of the safest travel destinations in Africa and the Arab world. Millions of tourists visit every year without incident. The country has a strong police presence in tourist areas and a generally welcoming attitude toward visitors.
As with any destination, standard precautions apply: keep valuables secure, be aware of your surroundings in busy souks, and use reputable operators (like us) for all tours and transfers.
Morocco is visited by hundreds of thousands of solo female travellers every year. While cultural differences exist, exercising normal awareness and dressing modestly in traditional areas (medinas, mosques) ensures a comfortable experience.
Our team includes female staff and guides who can be specifically requested for solo female travellers who prefer this option.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and we advise all our clients to obtain comprehensive cover before travelling. A good policy should include:
Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
Trip cancellation and curtailment
Baggage and personal belongings
Activity cover (for adventure activities like quad biking)
Tap water in Morocco is technically treated and safe, but we recommend drinking bottled water to avoid any stomach sensitivity, particularly for those not accustomed to the local minerals. Bottled water is inexpensive and widely available everywhere.
No vaccinations are officially required to enter Morocco. However, we recommend ensuring your routine vaccinations are up to date. Some travellers opt for:
Hepatitis A and B
Typhoid (for longer stays)
Tetanus booster
